West Vision is home to Yona Beach Club, Hype Boat Club and BOA Phuket Club, with a growing portfolio of businesses across Phuket. As the group continues to expand, we’re looking for a Junior Accountant to join our finance team and play an important role in keeping our accounts running smoothly.

With thousands of guests visiting our venues each month, our finance operations are fast-paced and varied, with income coming through travel agents, online booking platforms, card and QR payments, online payment providers and cash.

Working alongside the Accounts Receivable team and reporting to the Accounts Receivable Manager, you’ll support the financial operations of our portfolio of businesses. As West Vision provides centralised services across the group, this is a fantastic opportunity to gain broad experience, develop your accounting skills and contribute to the financial operations of a growing hospitality group.

What you’ll do

• Reconcile the group’s bank accounts daily and prepare accurate month-end reconciliation statements.

• Match incoming payments to the correct guest, agent, booking and invoice across bank transfers, QR payments, card settlements, online payment providers and venue cash deposits.

• Review online payment settlements in detail, ensuring collections, processing fees, refunds and VAT are accurately recorded.

• Verify that payments have been received and cleared in the bank before bookings are marked as paid, ensuring our records always reflect actual transactions.

• Complete daily finance checklists, maintain accurate records of outstanding items and investigate and flag any discrepancies promptly.

• Process routine daily entries in Odoo, our ERP system, ensuring every transaction is supported by the appropriate documentation and can be easily traced back to its source.

• Prepare supporting schedules for the monthly financial close and maintain the documentation required for the annual audit.

What you’ll bring

• A degree in Accounting or a related accounting qualification.

• Whether you’re a recent graduate looking to start your accounting career or already have experience in accounting, bookkeeping, accounts receivable or audit, we’d love to hear from you. We’ll support you in learning the specific processes and systems used across our group.

• A good understanding of double-entry bookkeeping, with working knowledge of Thai VAT and withholding tax.

• Strong Excel skills, including VLOOKUP or XLOOKUP, pivot tables and the ability to compare data and identify discrepancies.

• Fluent Thai and a good level of written English, with the ability to work confidently with bank statements, payment reports and invoices.

• A careful, organised and methodical approach, with the confidence to ask questions and investigate when something doesn’t look right.

Nice to have, but not essential

• If you've used an ERP system such as Odoo.

• Experience with online payment providers, travel agent payments, or within hospitality, food & beverage or travel.

• Registration as a bookkeeper with the Department of Business Development, or professional development hours already underway. If you don’t have these yet, we’ll support you in working towards them.
